“Green party leader Elizabeth May cast the federal campaign in apocalyptic terms Sunday, urging complacent Canadians to turn off CNN and tune in to the importance of their Canadian vote.” Geez, last election, were we all so busy watching CNN that we didn’t get out to vote? Huh? Eh?

I am a Canadian woman just riveted to the Democratic National Convention (DNC) and its unfolding change-making history in action. Hillary Clinton put 18 million cracks in the glass ceiling blazing a new trail for young girls and for women.Barack Obama , having been acclaimed the party’s Presidential Candidate today, leaving many African-Americans, including African-American men crying, was an amazingly moving moment in American History.

I am a Canadian who longs for a restoration of sanity to the leadership of The United States of America. Let me make it clear, I am not against the U.S. just its current corrupt out-of-control Government. I recognize the mighty power of the United States to lead this world. But right now the Bush [...]
